THE OLD-TIME TELEVISION TRIVIA BOOK III by Mel Simons

ISBN 9781629331881

People under the age of thirty may only know Dick Van Dyke from his 2018 appearance in Mary Poppins Returns, but you remember The Dick Van Dyke Show and his many ways of tripping over an ottoman. Can you name the boyfriend of the character Sally Rogers? You remember The Carol Burnett Show, but who were her second bananas?

Keep thinking back. Can you name the bartender on The Love Boat? Do you remember Hopalong Cassidy’s sidekick? Who played The Rifelman’s son? What did Archie Bunker do for a living? What did Liberace always place on his piano?

If you can answer these questions, you’ll love pondering the countless memory ticklers that have been compiled once again by the nearly legendary Mel Simmons. If you can’t answer these questions, then you need the book. The answers could come in handy when you get on Jeopardy one day.

Dozens of quiz games combined with rare photos and illustrations from the days when rabbit ears and rooftop antennas were an integral feature of every American home will take you back to the memories you cherish most.
