Scars & Fresh Paint

Jeffery Allen Tobin, a political scientist by some cosmic mistake, wades through the murky waters of U.S. foreign policy in South Florida, much to the dismay of real experts. After hours, he retreats to a safer world where Jane Austen doesn’t critique his dance moves and Hemingway doesn’t challenge him to a boxing match. An enthusiastic abuser of the semicolon, Jeffery scribbles tales that make classic authors roll in their graves. While masquerading as a serious analyst of foreign policy (snooze-fest alert), he genuinely excels in debating whether jazz or classical more aptly scores his life’s frequent missteps.
