Hub & 4-Pack Water Leak Sensor 2 Starter Kit

The Water Leak Sensor 2 is a "rope" type water leak sensor. It has an integral alarm sounder, use of which is optional. Additional ropes/cords can be added, to expand the detection region. As a rope type sensor, this sensor is a frequent choice if:

• water detection is needed in a confined space, such as between an appliance like a built-in icemaker or refrigerator and the wall.

• water detection is needed in a defined region, such as around a water heater or a sump pump
• water detection is required in several adjacent regions such as both under a bathroom sink and around a toilet, or under a kitchen sink and around a dishwasher (with optional extension cords, the area of water leak detection can be expanded)

Water Leak Sensor 2 Features

• Wireless operation; no 120V outlet or wiring required
• Battery-powered (two standard alkaline AAA batteries, included)
• Integral alarm sounder, which can be enabled or disabled from the app
• LoRa long-range/low-power technology offers 5+ years of battery life, compared to 1 year for other brands
• Real-time water sensor status displayed on the YoLink app
• Alexa voice assistant, IFTTT and Home Assistant integration
• YoLink Control D2D device-to-device pairing allows for your leak sensors to be paired to sirens and smart valves and valve controllersm, or other devices, without an internet connection, and without power ("No WiFi, No Internet, No Power - No Problem!")

• S.D.I.M - Smart Device Integrity Monitoring means your smart device is supervised 24/7 for communication and device health. Should your device fail to communicate or have a device health issue, you can be notified (per your alarm strategy settings). Each device has a unique identification number and it is individually monitored by the YoLink cloud server, 24/7, continuously
• YoLink’s industry-leading long range communication (up to 1/4 mile, open air!) allows for operation in larger homes and in areas difficult for other wireless systems, such as basements, separate garages/structures, and even outside your home

Benefits

• Exceptional value; high-quality wireless smart leak/flooding detection at a great price
• Low temperature alerts and notifications (adjustable)
• Audible sounder
• Be informed immediately of off-normal environmental conditions, such as water from leaks or flooding, in your home and property, before expensive repairs are required
• Create custom automations using the YoLink app, to trigger responses from other YoLink devices, such as the Siren Alarm
• Compact design allows for placing the sensor where others may not fit
• Easy to install and portable; move to other locations as needed
• Lower cost of ownership than other technologies; low-power operation means batteries may last over 5 years, compared to 1 or less from other brands
• Carefree maintenance, with more years between battery replacement
• Uses standard alkaline batteries (2 AAA batteries); no Lithium or special batteries required

• Works with the convenient and user-friendly YoLink app
• Extremely easy and fast installation using the YoLink app with Scan & Play
• Enjoy functionality even during a power outage. Control-D2D paired devices will perform their paired function automatically, without an internet connection, without the app, and without AC power (in the case of battery-powered or battery-backed-up devices - an internet connection is required for full functionality and for the app to work.)
