In the summer of 2019, “Detox” was chosen as an Award Poem by the editors of \u003ci style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"\u003ePlainsongs.\u003c\/i\u003e In November 2024, Thomas’s poem “Grief,” found in this volume, was nominated for a Pushcart Prize by the editor of \u003ci\u003eAutumn Sky Poetry Daily.\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align: justify;\"\u003e\u003cspan style=\"mso-bidi-font-size: 12.0pt; mso-bidi-font-family: 'Times New Roman';\"\u003eThomas’s three previous collections have all been published by Kelsay Books:\u003ci\u003e Swift River Ballad\u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: italic;\"\u003e (2023), \u003ci\u003eLongfellow, Tell Me\u003c\/i\u003e\u003c\/span\u003e (2022), and \u003ci style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: normal;\"\u003eWinter in Halifax \u003c\/i\u003e\u003cspan style=\"mso-bidi-font-style: italic;\"\u003e(2021)\u003c\/span\u003e. Matthew W. Stewart, and where he has collaborated with music minister Patrick G.
